If your loved one was on hospice at home, call the hospice nurse first. Once the death has been confirmed, call us at (773) 866-2273 and we will come to you.

Cremation Permits and Death Certificates in DuPage County
Our prices are the same in every county: $200 for the cremation permit, and $40 for the first certified death certificate and $20 for each additional copy.
- Cremation permit: The DuPage County Coroner must issue a Permit to Cremate whenever cremation is planned. If the Coroner is investigating the death, the permit is issued only once that investigation is complete. We apply for it for you.
- Death certificates: Certified death certificates for deaths in DuPage County come from the DuPage County Health Department’s Vital Records office, 111 N. County Farm Rd., Wheaton. We order certified copies for you.
