Obituary

Oscar Alvaro, 74, passed away Friday, February 18, 2022 at Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He had a short battle with Covid pneumonia which lead to kidney failure until God had called him home. He was born on March 12, 1947 in Baguio city, Philippines. He was birth by his loving parents (mother) Eusebia and (father) Rizalino. Oscar was the youngest of his siblings (brother's) Tony and Rizalino, and (sister) Nancy. He had traveled all over the world in his younger years as a Merchant Marine. He then married his beloved beautiful wife Natalia. He was a devoted father to Philip, Geralyn, Jerico, and Milanie. He became an amazing grandfather to Elian and Amia. He loved his family dearly and unconditionally. His love for gardening, cooking, and food always brought his family together. Sleepless nights of singing, laughter, great food, unlimited drinks, surrounded by good company, and unforgettable memories were his forte. We all know he will be watching over us, guiding, protecting, and surrounding us with his love. May he rest in peace and suffer no longer...
