Willis (Bill) Doebel, died on Saturday, November 9, 2019 in Chicago, IL. He was 81 years old. Bill was born on August 13, 1938 in Savage, MN to Willis and Elizabeth Doebel. Beloved husband to Linda Victel. Bill lived in Chicago for over 30 years and previously lived in Michigan, Nebraska, South Dakota and Minnesota. He graduated high school in Savage, MN, was a Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI) and a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS). Bill worked in motion picture distribution beginning as a film booker and concluding his work in that industry as a Regional Vice President of Distribution for Orion Pictures. He was also the proprietor of his hotdog cart, Doebelini's Wienies. For the last 27 years, Bill was an award winning licensed residential real estate broker in Chicago. Bill was a long time, die- hard Chicago Cubs fan and attended Cubs games as often as he could. Bill is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife Linda, his four children: Lori (Rick), David, Sherri and Andrew (Jennifer); his grandchildren, David and Danielle Doebel, Nathan and Anna Zoulek, and Carly and Claire Callen; his great-grandchildren, Jayden and Miles.    Bill's ashes will be joined with the ashes of his 2 beloved dogs Kirby and Wrigley. A celebration of Bill's life will be planned for a future date.
