Obituary

Tyrone "Ty" Williams, a beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2023, in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois. Born on February 27, 1959, to the late Connie Kees and Maxie Fulghum, Ty lived a life full of laughter, kindness, and camaraderie.

Ty attended Harlem High School and went on to have a career as a CDL truck driver. His work allowed him to travel across the country, a task he undertook with great enthusiasm and dedication. He often shared stories of his travels, adding humor and warmth to each tale.

Ty was best known for his infectious humor and way with words. Every sentence had the infamous "What's the deals or dealio" .He had a kind heart, and friendly spirit. He had a natural ability to bring a smile to anyone's face, making even the simplest moments memorable. His laughter was contagious. He was a friend to many.

Ty is survived by his loving daughter, Shaunice Williams-Roberson, and his son, Theodore Williams. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Shanell Williams. He also leaves behind his sisters, Clevestia Scott, Maxine Williams, and Peceta Williams, and a host of nieces and nephews, including Randall Williams, Ramon Johnson, Larry Winslow, Brandon, Raquel Johnson, Rashawn Johnson, Roshi Winslow, Brittany Sanders, Brandy Williams, and Briana. Each of them held a special place in his heart.

Ty's legacy is not just in his immediate family but extends to the numerous relatives and friends who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be remembered for his laughter, his stories, and the love he had for his family and friends.His memory will live on in the hearts and minds of all who knew him. His passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift.
