Troy
Robinson
Nov 5, 1962 — Sep 23, 2023
Troy B. Robinson, loving, funny, and kind, was born on November 5, 1962, in
the bustling city of Chicago, IL. He lived and loved there until his passing on
September 23, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, warmth, and music.
Born to Bernice Robinson and the late Charles Robinson, Troy was one of
four, a brother to Tamera, Tracy, and Trevor. His siblings remember him
fondly, his humor bringing light to even the dreariest of Chicago winters.
Tracy's husband, John Hanch, and Trevor's wife, Karen, also share in the
family's fond memories of Troy's infectious laughter and generous spirit.
Troy was a beloved uncle to six nieces, three nephews, nine great-nieces,
and three great-nephews. His uncles, Ted Young and Nate Robinson, and his
aunt, Brenda Young, join in the chorus of family members mourning his
passing. But mourning is not the only song sung in Troy's memory. His family,
his friends, and a host of cousins will forever celebrate the joy he brought into
their lives.
Troy B. Robinson was a man of many talents, a graduate of the Illinois
Institute of Chicago, where he earned a certification that paved the way for his
life's work. Yet, it was his passion for music that truly defined him. He loved
nothing more than to strum his guitar, his fingers dancing over the strings as
he composed melodies that touched the hearts of all who heard them.
He was a songwriter, his lyrics a testament to his beautiful soul. As he penned
verses, he painted pictures of love, friendship, and the simple pleasures of
life. His music became his voice, a voice that echoed with kindness and a love
for life. Troy was a man who lived his life to a rhythm all his own.
Troy B. Robinson, a man whose life was a song, a melody of love, humor, and
kindness. His absence leaves a silence, but his memory will forever fill it with
music. The chords he strummed, the songs he wrote, and the love he shared
are his lasting legacy.
So, we say goodbye to Troy B. Robinson, even as we hold him in our hearts.
The song has ended, but the melody lingers on. His life was a symphony, a
beautiful composition of love, laughter, and kindness. His memory will forever
be a sweet refrain, a melody that will continue to play in the hearts of all who
loved him. So here's to Troy, a man who lived his life in harmony, a man who
left the world a little brighter, a little kinder, and a whole lot more
1 Thessalonians 4:13-14
Believers Who Have Died, Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be
uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest
of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and
so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
