Tony Tharrington passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 1, 2026, at the age of 62 in Chicago, Illinois. He spent his final moments with Shatony.

Tony was born on January 25, 1964, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Mary Washington and Robert Tharrington.

He is survived by his three daughters, Tonisha (Charles), Kiana (Corrie), and Shayna, who will continue his legacy. He is also survived by his grandchildren Kaniya, Deja, Venson, and Kyrie.

Tony is also remembered by his siblings Robin (James), Robert, Edward (Marilyn), Tommy (Diane), and Chris (Patricia), along with a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews who will cherish his memory.
