Theresa Chu Chen Bassan

In loving memory of Theresa Chu Chen Bassan - devoted wife and mother, and cherished friend to many.

Theresa came to the United States from Taiwan in 1960 to build an independent life and raise her family. Among her many accomplishments, she was especially proud of her 35-year career at Air Canada and, above all, of her family and the love she shared with them.

She will be deeply missed by her husband, Gastone Gianni Bassan; her daughter, Regina Chen, and son-in-law, Declan O’Reilly; her son, Andrew Chen, and his partner, Julio Castro; her brother, Tommy Chu, his wife, Vivian, daughter Cecillia, and son Edward; and her sister-in-law, Christine Chu. She was preceded in death by her brother, Shaw Lung Chu, and her son-in-law, Richard Butler.
