Ted Michalopoulos, a man of profound love and passion passed, away peacefully on December 15, 2024 in Olympia Fields, IL. Born on July 18, 1968, in Chicago Heights, IL Ted's journey was marked by his curiosity, dedication, and an unyielding commitment to his children, grandchildren and family that he cherished.

Ted is preceded in death by his father, Ted Michalopoulos, and brother Elias Michalopoulos

Family was the cornerstone of Ted's life. He is survived by his beloved mother, Sharon Michalopoulos-Winfree, His sisters, Elizabeth Reed, (Paul Ciolino), Alexandria (Aleka) Lach, (Tim Pryszcz).

He was the proud father of Ted Michalopoulos, (Ashlee), Jason Michalopoulos, and Irene Stumpf, (Sheldon). Ted was the loving grandfather of Isabella, Ted, and Madilyn. He was the fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Ted's interests were as varied as they were rich. He was an avid amateur historian who was a voracious reader and loved to travel and experience adventure and new horizons. He was a culinary enthusiast who found great joy in cooking for his family.

Ted was a proud union member and former steel worked at Alliance Midwest in Chicago Heights. He also may very well hold the recorded record in IPass fines exceeding 50K.

Ted Michalopoulos will be remembered for his love of family as well as the warmth and the light to those he loved.
