Suzanne Nicole Lagoni On January 15th, 2022, Sue passed away peacefully with her husband and son by her side at Highland Park Hospital in Highland Park, IL after a brief battle with cancer. She was 48 years old. Sue was born on June 16, 1973 to Robert "Bob" and Rose (Edelmann) Kieser in Milwaukee, WI. She was their first child and her brother Robert "Rob" Kieser Jr came along in 1977. Sue lived her entire childhood in Milwaukee, graduating from Marshall High School in 1991. She had a love for children and began a career in day care during high school which lasted until she found her true calling, teaching severely disabled children. Sue worked for special education from 2000 until her passing. Her longest tenure was at Laremont School in Gages Lake, IL, where she worked for many years making lifelong friends with students, parents and teachers. Sue met her husband in 1999 and were married Feb. 14th, 2000. They completed their family with the adoption of their son Jaden from China in 2010. Sue was a devoted wife and mother. She loved spending time with her family, and was extremely proud of her son and his academic accomplishments. She always had a smile on her face, had a great sense of humor and loved joking around. Her personality made it easy for her to strike up conversations with strangers and make friends quickly. She loved music, especially from the '80s and 90's and collected vinyl records. Sue loved to go to concerts and saw her favorite band, Pearl Jam, many times. Around 2012, She became passionate about running and lead her family on many adventures around the country as she raced in 1/2 and full marathons. She also loved cats and dogs and always had a "fur baby" or two as part of the family throughout her life. Suzanne Nicole Lagoni is survived by her husband Charles A. Lagoni II, son Jaden J. Lagoni, parents Robert "Bob" and Rose (Edelmann) Kieser, brother and sister in law Robert "Rob" and Leah (Demares) Kieser, uncle Bernard Langlois, and a host of beloved family and friends across the United States and France. A celebration of her life will be private.
