Steven Paul
Foss
Jan 30, 1987 — Aug 26, 2023
Steven Paul Foss
Known to many as Steve/Stevie, was born on January 30, 1987, in Chicago, IL, and passed away in the same city on August 26, 2023. Known for his generous spirit, loving heart, and friendly demeanor, Steve touched countless lives throughout his 36 years.
Steve was the beloved son of the late Amy and Fred Foss, cherished stepson of Ronald Boyden, adored brother of Amanda Boyden, proud uncle to Synnova, close-loving cousin to Julie Boyden, and cared dearly of his late grandmother he adored so much. He leaves behind family and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
A proud 2001 graduate of Bridge School, Steve was a pillar of his community. His passion for sports was undeniable, and his talent, particularly in baseball, was extraordinary. He could have easily graced the fields of the Major League Baseball. His dreams of fatherhood were known to many, and though he had many close relationships, he never quite found the right partner to start a family with.
Steve's interests were as diverse as they were intense. He had a passion for hard rock and alternative music, often seen with headphones in, losing himself in the rhythm and lyrics. His artistic talent was remarkable, and he spent many hours sketching beautiful drawings that mirrored his inner world. He had a magnetic personality, making friends wherever he went with his infectious charm and easy-going nature.
His love for the fast life was evident in his fascination with motorcycles and sports cars, owning several in his lifetime. As the saying goes, "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away." This quote by Maya Angelou perfectly encapsulates Steve's zest for life and his pursuit of adrenaline-filled experiences.
Steve was a man who loved deeply and was deeply loved in return but not by all for the mistakes he has made with some family and friends. Steve missed the loved ones he upset, hurt, and expressed anger too the most. He wished nothing more then to apologize to the loved ones he hurt. Please forgive Steven. He was brave and stood up for what he believed in. He had German pride and would fight anyone if he had too be protected. His generosity was legendary, his heart was immense, and his friendly nature made him a joy to be around. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of many, but his spirit lives on through the countless lives he touched.
As we remember Steve, we celebrate the life he lived and the love he shared. His legacy is one of kindness, generosity, and a deep love for life and the people in it. It is a legacy that will continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
Steven Paul Foss life may seem short by years, but it was immeasurably vast in influence and impact. His memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who loved him. Though his life was cut short, his spirit will continue to live on, inspiring those who knew him to live fully, love generously, and be friendly to all. Rest in peace, dear Stevie you will be missed cuzo. May God bless your soul.
