It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Stanley Leo Rygula, a beloved husband, cherished father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and dear friend. He brought love, kindness, and joy to all who knew him.

Stanley Leo Rygula was cremated at Caring Cremations in Chicago. He is survived by his loving wife, Carla Rygula; his children, Salena Rivera (Anthony Rivera), Amanda Hedlund (Christopher Hedlund), and Walter Rygula; his seven beloved grandchildren, Skye, Alesia, Lilyana, Jayden, Dominick, Ariella, and Mikayla; and his cherished great-grandchild, Dela Mae. He is also survived by his siblings, Patricia, Maria, Raymond, William, David, Kathleen, Stefan, Eric, and Alena, and his mother-in-law, Ethel Ceniti.

As Jehovah's Word teaches, death is an enemy, not a gift. Through Jesus, those who have died have the hope of being resurrected to live again on a peaceful, restored earth. This comforting promise gives strength and hope to all who loved him.

A celebration dinner to honor his life will be held at a later date.
