Scott Saltzman December 29, 1970 – May 11, 2022 Scott Michael Saltzman, 51, of Chicago, formerly of Peoria, IL, passed away on May 11, 2022. He is survived by his daughter Brody Saltzman of Chicago, IL, father Ken Bennett of Naples, FL, and brothers Jefferey Saltzman of Phoenix, AZ, Tim (DeAnn) Bennett of Ames, IA, and Tom Bennett of Bloomington, IL, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Bobbie Bennett. Scott graduated from Naperville North High School and earned a degree in business from Eastern Illinois University. He later settled in Chicago, IL where he has been a resident for the past 25 years. Scott was a caring father who cherished spending time with his daughter and her dog, Juggy. He was a jovial person and gifted storyteller who could always leave a room laughing, and had a smile to share with everyone he met. Scott enjoyed fishing and listening to music. His loss will be deeply felt, but his legacy of love will live on. Caring Cremations of Chicago is handling final arrangements and memorial service will be held at a later date.
