Rose Dell Ogie was born on August 20,1949 in Clarksdale Miss. to Sarah and Booker T. Jenkins Sr. Who both proceeded her in death.
Rose had one sister Eunice Jenkins and one Brother Booker T. Jenkins jr. who both also proceeded her in death Rose in her family moved to Chicago where she attended Cooley high school where she met her first husband Rose married Ezekiel Givens Sr. and to this union four children were born Melisa Jenkins,Alicia Jenkins,Ezekiel Givens jr. and Regina Givens Rose was also married to Asteen Ogie Rose went on in her life to accomplish many things aside from being a great mother,grandmother,aunt mother in law and friend she perused many things she attended school for hair she was a certified nurses assistant and a dialysis technician where she worked until her health started to decline.
Rose was a strong woman and fought to the very end not letting her illness stop her from living Rose believed in god and knew he would see her through this hard time never leaving her side but god knew she was tired and called her home on January 1,2025 to be with him Rose will forever be remembered by her children Melisa, Alicia ,Ezekiel (Latrice) and Regina (David) all from Chicago Rose also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren 2 nieces and 2 nephews Rose will be greatly missed and never forgotten and may she rest in the arms of the lord forever until we meet her again
