Obituary

Robin Yvonne Palmer, so loving, funny and bright, Born in Chicago, under a summer night's light.

A puzzle enthusiast, who cherished time with her clan, Her laughter and wisdom spread as far as it can. She was born in the year of '57, in July, In Chicago she lived, and there she did lie. A heart attack took her, on an October day, But her spirit and love, they will forever stay. She was a loan officer, with a heart full of grace, helping others with warmth, and a smiling face. Her favorite pastime, a western show's delight, Walker Texas Ranger, she'd watch into the night.

She leaves behind Robert, her beloved son, And grandchildren Briana K. and Robert II, their love never undone. A life lived with purpose, Robin was truly a gem, A beacon of light.

In the midst of sorrow's embrace, I'm here by your side,

As you navigate a world where your mother's love does hide.

Her gentle soul, now soaring high above,

Leaving behind cherished memories filled with love.

In moments like these, words may seem so frail,

Yet through the darkness, together we sail.

My friend, take solace in the memories you hold,

For in your heart, her spirit will forever unfold.

Though tears may fall, and pain may consume,

Remember, dear one, you need not face this alone.

Let me be a beacon in this stormy night,

Guiding you towards a glimmer of hope, shining bright.

Your mother's love was like a gentle breeze,

Whispering comfort, putting your mind at ease.

Her laughter, her touch, forever etched in your heart,

A bond unbreakable, that death cannot part.

Please lean on me when grief becomes too much,

I'll offer a listening ear, a tender touch.

Together, we'll honor her memory so dear,

Sharing stories and laughter, casting away fear.

Remember, my friend, that healing takes time,

Be patient with yourself as emotions may climb.

You're not alone on this journey you tread,

With every step, I'll be there, softly to tread.

In this poem, I offer solace and care,

For a heart grieving, burdened with despair.

Know that I'm here, a gentle presence to lean on,

Guiding you through, until brighter days dawn.
