Richard Vernon Frey

Richard Vernon Frey aka Rich or Mr. Belmont, was born and lived in Chicago, Illinois for 79 years. Richard peacefully passed away at the Pavilion of Logan Square nursing home on Wednesday the 26th of August surrounded by his loving family. The son of Vernon William Frey and Mary June Chamberlain. Richard was a retired CTA driver and loved to go out fishing and spending time with family. When at home, Richard would tend to his garden, do carpentry and cook. Richard survived by his children, Andrew Richard Frey, Jonathon Richard Frey, Deanna Marie Frey, Christopher Richard (wife Sara) Frey and three grandchildren, Ryleigh, Haylie and Ethyn. He is also survived by his sibling, Carol Frey, as well as many cousins and friends whom miss him dearly. Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Lourdes Figueroa Frey and brother Joseph Frey. Rest in Peace Dear Father. Your memory will live on in our hearts forever. We Love You.
