Rhonda Frankel Kelly, age 63, passed away unexpectedly on July 16, 2025, due to complications following heart surgery.

She was an adoring wife to Thomas Minaghan. Loving mother of Ashley Kelly and Nicole Kelly (Tina Feldstein), a grandmother and committed caregiver to Shelby Minaghan. Cherished daughter of Anita Lovell (Paul) and the late Gerald Frankel; sister of the late Neal Frankel and the late Steven Frankel. She was a dear aunt, cousin, and loyal friend to many.

Rhonda was known for her sharp wit, infectious laugh, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her sarcasm and sense of humor could light up any room, and her radiant smile was a lasting gift to everyone she met. She lived a life of service—always showing up, always giving, and always putting her loved ones first.

Rhonda shared a loving partnership with her husband Tom, and they cared deeply for one another, especially through life's hardships. As a committed and hands-on wife, mother, and friend, she never missed a moment to nurture, support, or fiercely protect those she loved. Her presence was a constant source of strength, and her love was boundless, steady, and unconditional. Rhonda will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the gift of knowing and loving her.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Ascension Catholic Church, 808 S East Ave, Oak Park, IL 60304.

A Celebration of Life and gathering to honor Rhonda's memory will be on Sunday, July 27, 2025, from 1:00p - 6:00p at 2547 Cedar Hill Ln., Woodridge, IL 60517.
