Rebecca "Becky" Burnette Starovich, a beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished sister, and treasured friend, passed away on July 30th at the age of 64, surrounded by love and grace.

Born on October 15, 1960, Becky lived each day as her bold, authentic self—defined by fierce loyalty, sharp wit, and boundless love. She brought light, laughter, and warmth to everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Becky was devoted to her family, the center of her world. She shared 36 loving years with her husband, Dale, and together they raised two children, Taylor and Zoe, whom she cherished with unwavering pride and unconditional love.

She was also a beloved sister to Ruth and Debbie. Their connection shaped who they are and remains a lasting source of strength. Becky's presence lives on in the hearts of her sisters, forever walking beside them.

She touched countless lives with her kindness, humor, and strength and her legacy will continue through the love she so freely and generously shared.

Becky is survived by her husband, Dale Starovich; their children, Taylor Starovich (Amanda and Ben Riley) and Zoe Starovich; her sisters, Ruth (Burnette) Perino (Gary, Lauren, and Evan) and Debbie Burnette (Jay Elkinton, Amanda, June, and Blair); and her mother-in-law, Carolee Starovich, as well as extended family and dear friends who will carry her memory forward.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Carole Beth Burnette, and her grandmother, Ruth Mildred Welty.

A celebration of Becky's life will be held on Saturday, September 13th at 3pm at The Baha'i House of Worship, 100 Linden Avenue in Wilmette, IL where all who loved her are welcome to gather, remember, and honor her.
