Ralph Philip Riff of Chicago, Illinois, born August 27, 1953 to Jerome and Lois Riff (nee Hektner) passed away January 10, 2020 at the age of 66. He graduated New Trier East High School ('71) and attended Drake University. Throughout his life, Ralph reveled in his love of the French language, culture, literature and art. He also enjoyed music, reading, cycling the streets of Chicago, and spending time with friends and family. Ralph was an active member at Threshold's where he spent many hours in events and activities, and volunteered for one year as a Facilitator in the WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) Program. He is survived by his sister Diane Riff of Northfield. Ralph will be greatly missed by family, friends and neighbors, and fondly remembered for his big heart, quiet nature, quick wit and warm embrace.
