Phillip Thomas, age 54, passed away on 12 Sep 2022 at West Suburban Hospital in Oak park Illinois.

Born in Chicago, Illinois he was the son of Alice Thomas and Samuel Wallace. He attended Flowers Vocational High School. He was employed at Nestle USA in Bloomington, Illinois where he retired.

He was preceded in death by His mother and father, and his brothers Rodney E.Toney, Curtis Thomas, and niece Markeita Wallace

He is survived by his Step-Mother Mary Wallace, brothers and sisters Gregory Thomas, Mark Wallace, Kimberly Casper, Johnny Casper III, Kenneth Casper, His nieces and nephews Rodney E. Toney, Jr, Desire Rivers, Malik Love, Rodney Toney Jr, III, Darien S. Thomas, Dontrell, , Lonnie, Kendall, Madison, Chinetha, Johnnie IV, Milan, , Jordan, Johnathan and Jaylen.

He also leaves a host of life long friends, cousins, brothers-in-law and sister-in-law

For those who didn't know Phil by his name given name, "Gumby" and "Crumb" might catch your ear.
