Mary F. Haniak, 73, passed away on June 24, 2024 in Berwyn, Illinois. Born in Tarentum, Pennsylvania on March 9th, 1951. Loving mother of two sons, Charles Lettner and Joshua Lettner.

Despite Mary's life challenges, she always prioritized her sons. Buying them gifts when she could. Writing cards with personal messages for their birthday's and on the holidays. In these handwritten letters, she only wanted her two son's to remain in touch with her and to become successful. Mary was a smart, quirky woman. Full of laughter and smiles. Despite her sons being formally adopted by a separate family in 2002, they remained in touch with her until she passed away. Her sons will always cherish the visits they had with her. Whether it be out to lunch at restaurants, trips to the Lincoln Park Zoo or one of her favorite outings, going to a Cubs game with them. Her sons often and endearingly referred to Mary as their, "Other mother". Other Mother, we will always love you and you are deeply missed.
