Mark Anthony
Lohenry
May 13, 1958 — Sep 4, 2022
Mark Anthony Lohenry, 64, of Chicago, IL, passed away on September 4, 2022. Preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Lohenry, brother, Keith Lohenry, mother, Rosalie Lohenry, and his father, Donald Lohenry. He will be leaving behind his loving daughter, Rachel Lohenry, his sister Kathleen Bush, grandson, Max Bagneschi, niece, Debbie (Tom Miller), nephew, Joey Bush (Fiona Bush, with a great grand niblet to be announced), his dog Freya, and his great aunt, Jeanette Johnson.
Mark was proudly a Navy Veteran and Loved to tinker and build/ride motorcycles. He deeply enjoyed nature, camping, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his friends and family. He spent most of his life working as an engineer for Cook County in the highway department. He later retired, enjoying his days hanging out with his beloved Bull Dog Freya (who looked very much like him) and pestering his Mom and smoking her cigs. Mark LOVED food… so much, that he taught himself how to cook his own pork chops at the ripe old age of 3. He was very close to his Mother Rosalie and his Aunt Jeanette who loved him deeply. Despite all the things the universe threw at him, Mark tried to stay positive and was grateful for every day that he was "suckin' air." Mark said once that he had lived "a very happy and ventureful life". Ventureful isn't a real word, but that's ok. There's no doubt that he had lots of good times on this rock. He will be sorely missed.
