Marie Marchewka, affectionately known to her loved ones as "Grandma Me". Aged 79, of Plainfield, Illinois, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 11, 2026.

Marie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Terence Marchewka.

She is survived by her son, Brian Marchewka, and daughter-in-law, Suzanne Marchewka; her grandchildren, Zack, Alex, Eric, and Heidi; her daughter, Sue Stremplewski, and son-in-law, Steve Stremplewski; and her granddaughter, Tara.

Maria's family is deeply saddened by her passing. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by all who knew her.
