Marie Louise Johnson (Mimi) was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on July 6, 1943. She left us on January 2, 2023 at age 79. Mimi was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick K. L. Johnson and Louise King Johnson Herbolsheimer. Surviving family members include her brother, Frederick K. Johnson (Karen) and sister, Elizabeth Johnson Albert (Tim). She is survived by many nephews and nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.

Mimi graduated from Auburn High School, Auburn, IN in 1961. She was known for her skills, academically and on the tennis courts when she attended the University of New Mexico. She lived her adult life in Chicago, IL, where she worked in data processing and was a sought after referee for high school girls' volleyball and basketball.

A memorial service will be held in honor of Mimi at noon on March 12, 2023, and will be located at Ignatia House, Chicago, IL.
