Margaret Maria
Narro
Feb 24, 1953 — Oct 26, 2025
Margaret Maria Narro, affectionately known as Marge to her friends and family, passed away on October 26, 2025, at the age of 72 in Berwyn, Illinois, after a valiant battle with kidney disease. Born on February 24, 1953, in Brooklyn, New York, Marge grew to become a pillar of strength and love to all who knew her.
Marge's journey through life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her family and her profession. She found her calling in the field of nursing, graduating from Staten Island College with a Bachelor's of Nursing. Her passion for caring for others was evident throughout her 40-year career as a Registered Nurse and Director of Nursing for long-term care facilities. Marge also applied her medical expertise as a medical paralegal, further demonstrating her commitment to the healthcare field. Despite her professional accomplishments, Marge often said that her greatest achievements were her children and her 11 grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
Marge's Christian faith was a cornerstone of her existence, guiding her through life's challenges with grace and resilience. She was a beacon of love, known for her passionate and courageous spirit. Her interests were a reflection of her warm and engaging personality; she found joy in reading, writing, and playing cards. Marge cherished the moments spent watching her children participate in sports and reveled in the simple pleasure of being surrounded by her family.
Marge is preceded in death by her sister Lupe Narro, mother Veronica Narro and father Aureliano Narro. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her beloved husband, Kevin Smith; her devoted children, Louis DelGiudice and his wife Kristi, Dawn Kleidon and her husband Nick Hall, and Matt DelGiudice and his wife Mary Ellen. Marge was a proud sister to Veronica Narro and her brothers Arthur and Aureliano Narro. Her grandchildren, Nicholas, Alexa, Rocco, Keira, Devyn, Gabe, Lincoln, Kaelynn, Makenzie, and Kyleigh DelGiudice, as well as her great-grandson Lorenzo DelGiudice, will forever hold her in their hearts as a guiding star.
As we remember Marge, we are reminded of Helen Keller's words: "What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us." Marge's love and the joy she brought to our lives are indelibly etched in our memories, never to be lost.
Marge's life was a testament to the power of love and the strength of the human spirit. Her memory will continue to inspire and guide those she has left behind. We take comfort in knowing that her legacy will live on through the lives she touched, the care she provided, and the family she so deeply cherished. Marge's life was a beautiful story of compassion, commitment, and the enduring bonds of family. She will be profoundly missed and eternally loved.
