Luis silva cruz, Born in Uruapan Michoacan Mexico to francisco silva martinez and juana cruz martinez de silva on September 12, 1938 left his residence on this earth for his heavenly home at the age of 82 on July 10, 2021. Luis passed peacefully in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his loved ones at 2539 North kimball avenue in LOGAN SQUARE OF chicago, illinois and will always be remembered. Luis began life working on his father's farm. In 1966 Luis decided to leave a comfortable living in Mexico and moved to California where he began working odd jobs and in farming until settling in Chicago IL where he lived for 55 years in Logan Square. From an early age he developed a love for agriculture and gardening and pursued these throughout his life. Luis saw family connections as the most important part of life and he expressed this through his unique sense of humor and through the hospitality and unconditional love that he offered to everyone. He taught his children and grandchildren the value of hard work and dedication and led by example by providing a warm and loving home for his Beloved family. Predeceased by his loving wife Angelina Morales Rodriguez de Silva on October 4, 2012, his sons Joseph on September 11, 1994, George I on august 12, 1974, grandson Andy silva on July 13, 1990, brothers moises and Gustavo. Luis is Survived by his children Gloria (Martin) Ramos, Luis (Esperanza Machado), Francisco, Angelina, Maria de la luz, johnson (martha), George (Donna) and his grandchildren Gloria, Erick, karina, melissa, Elizabeth, Edith, francisco, brittney, Nicholas, Jonathan, david, Luz, ricardo, emma, eva, monica, johnson jr, Valentina, Joseph jr. and 4 great-grandchildren. Further Survived By his brother Gilberto and sister Adela. A funeral service is scheduled for 5:00 pm on july 12, 2021 at Theis- Gorski funeral home LOCATED AT 3517 NORTH PULASKI ROAD in Chicago, Illinois. Interment will follow on July 13, 2021 at 11:00 am at All saints cemetery 700 north river road, Des plaines, Illinois.
