Lucy Jane (Artenian) Arzoomanian of Evanston, Illinois passed away peacefully on August 2, 2023. Lucy was born November 18th, 1924 in St. Catharines, Ontario, and came to Detroit, Michigan at age 24. She worked in bookkeeping for many years at the Conrail Corporation in both Detroit and Philadelphia. The work gave her an appreciation for early mornings which she never lost. She was a voracious reader, and loved to cook traditional Armenian foods.

She is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline (Arzoomanian) Kasuboski of Las Vegas, Nevada, and grandchildren James (Mara) Kasuboski of Evanston, Illinois and Rachel (Graham) Polando of South Bend, Indiana. She is also survived by her beloved great-grandson, John Victor, on whom she doted. They cherish her dedication to family and many of her qualities live on with them

In accordance with Lucy's wishes, no funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Armenia Fund in honor of Lucy's lifelong passion for her fellow Armenians (https://www.armeniafund.org/).
