Lawrence Clark was born August 28, 1953 to the union of the late Lawrence and Ertha Clark. Lawrence was the oldest of 4 children of whom Kenneth preceded him in death. Lawrence attended Wendell Phillips high school and shortly after joined the US Navy where he spent some time on assignment with the US Navy Seals.

Later in his life Lawrence accepted Christ and became an ordained minister to further his work for the Lord. He was also a certified nurses assistant and worked at many hospitals and nursing homes. He was also an active member of the Wentworth Gardens Past and Present Group. Lawrence felt his purpose in life was to spread the good news of Jesus Christ.

Lawrence was proceeded in death by his son Demetrius. Lawrence leaves to cherish his memories his wife Bernadine, three sons Duane, Lawrence (Shreada) and Andrew, one daughter Venice (Yazaer), one brother Richard, one sister Beatrice, two aunts Susie and Carol and a host of grand and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends
