Kristal Marie West passed away unexpectedly at home, where she lived with her long-time partner Mark Goggin on Friday, January 31, 2025. Kristal was born July 2, 1991, to Rhonda West McFarland and Fernando Meraz.

She is survived by her mother Rhonda McFarland (Michael McFarland), father Fernando Meraz, brother William West, niece Hailey West, aunt Michelle Michelson and aunt Angie McGhee and cousin Brian Larson. She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother Jeanette Edwards, her Uncle Beau Edwards, great uncles Richard Edwards, William Edwards and Thomas Edwards.

Kristal was a beautiful light and was loved by many. She was a very talented artist and loved doing clay models.
