Kimberly E. Tutson was the second eldest born on the west side of Chicago to Clarice Jordan and Charlie Crenshaw (preceded her in death). The family migrated to the north side of Chicago when Kimberly was a teenager. She was educated in the Chicago Public School system in which she attended Amundsen High School. She continued her education at Brown Mackie College where she earned her degree in Business Management. Kimberly was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her daughter and embraced every moment with her. In 1997, Kimberly and her daughter relocated to Atlanta, Georgia where they resided for 18 years.
