Kimberly Lynn Goffinet, age 52, passed away unexpectedly on December 3rd, 2020 in her home in Woodstock, IL. Kim was born on March 19th, 1968 in Hollywood, FL. She grew up in Terre Haute, IN where she attended South Vigo High School. Once Kim was older, she moved to Crystal Lake, IL where she resided for many years. Kim was passionate about music; from singing and dancing to simply just listening, she appreciated a plethora of genres. However, Rock n' Roll held a special place in Kim's heart, especially the band REO Speedwagon. Kim thoroughly enjoyed playing Euchre, and she was always making life-long lasting memories with her cherished friends. Kim's exuberant and bold personality was one that had a profound impact on anyone who encountered her. She was full of beauty on the outside and the inside, as Kim had a heart full of love, care, and courage. The loss of Kim's cheerful and loving presence was far too soon; she is missed deeply and immensely.Kim is preceded in death by her father, Michael Goffinet; and grandmother, Dorothy Clifton. Kim's legacy will continue on through those who she is survived by including her boyfriend, Don Klasen; daughter, Heather Smith-Phoenix (Brad Phoenix); son, Michael Capizzi (Jordan Capizzi); mother, Susan Vargason; and stepfather, Robert Vargason; sisters, Autumn Goffinet (John Page) and Krystl Beuder; nieces, Daisy, Shelby, and Billy Goffinet, Bobbi Beuder; nephew, Michael Baker; grandchildren, Brysten, Shane, Tristan; and many more extended family members.
