In Loving Memory of Jose De Jesus Aceves

Jose De Jesus Aceves, age 34, of Chicago Heights, Illinois, passed away on December 13, 2025. Though his life was far too short, the love he gave and the memories he created will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew him.

Born and raised in Chicago Heights, Jose was a familiar and cherished presence in his community. He was the beloved son of Pamela Galaviz and a devoted brother to Julio Arce Jr., Basilio Manuel Aceves, Rosa Marie Aceves, Gail Patricia Aceves, and Angelica Evelia Alvarado. Family meant everything to Jose, and he found his greatest joy in being surrounded by those he loved most.

Jose worked as a laborer, a role that reflected his strong work ethic and willingness to do whatever was needed. He approached life with humility and quiet determination, never seeking recognition but always showing up when others needed him.

He had a deep love for music, which was a constant source of comfort and expression throughout his life. Even more important to him was time spent with his nieces and nephews, who held a very special place in his heart. Jose was a proud and loving uncle to Yessenia Aryana Arce, Yasmine Arce, Juliana Yaritza Arce, Luis Godinez, Natalie Godinez, Joshua Antonio, Miyah Antonio, Moana Ciel Castro, and Basilio Aceves Jr. Being surrounded by them brought him immense joy, and his love for each of them was evident through his patience, laughter, and unwavering support.

Jose will be remembered most for his selflessness. He consistently put the needs of others before his own, offering kindness, loyalty, and compassion without hesitation. His presence was steady and reassuring, and his heart was generous beyond measure.

Though we mourn his passing, we also celebrate a life defined by love, family, and quiet strength. Jose's memory will live on in the stories shared, the music that reminds us of him, and the bond of family he held so dear.

Christian Prayer of Hope and Reunion

May the Lord wrap Jose in His eternal peace and welcome him into His loving presence. May we take comfort in God's promise that death is not the end, but a doorway to everlasting life. As Scripture reminds us, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me will live, even though he dies." (John 11:25)

Until the day we are reunited, may God grant strength to those who mourn, peace to aching hearts, and hope in the promise that we will see Jose again, whole and joyful, in the presence of our Savior.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
