Johnny R Harris, 54, died unexpectedly July 15, 2023 in Chicago, Illinois.

He was born March 11, 1969 in Belvidere Illinois and grew up there with his large family. As a boy, John was a gifted baseball player and spent many summers playing Belvidere Youth Baseball and pick up games around town. As an adult, John was a loving and caring son, brother and uncle to his mother, siblings and many nieces and nephews. He was known to be a compassionate person, always going out of his way to help people less fortunate than him. He was also a devoted Chicago Bears and Chicago White Sox fan and loved to cheer on his teams.

John leaves behind his Mother, Bonnie Harris, girlfriend Jackie Minoque, Sister Jeri Weir, Brothers Jim Malm and Joe Harris and a host of nieces and nephews and extended family.

The family will have a private interment and will host a Celebration of Life at a later date.
