John Mark Jankowski, 59, of Chicago, IL, passed away on August 11, 2022. Beloved father of Jessica Vargas and her husband JC Vargas, Rebecca Jankowski and her fiance Justin Kendzior, and Athena-dog. Caring brother to Paul Jankowski and his wife Janelle Jankowski. He will be leaving behind his nephews Paul Jankowski Jr and Alec Jankowski, as well as his mother Carol Jankowski. In death, he will be reunited with his son Jason Jankowski and his father Paul Jankowski. John worked at the Chicago Park District for several years. When he was away from work, he enjoyed walks around nature, indulged in science fiction, and worked on his art. He was particularly good with watercolors, but he was gifted in woodworking, stained glass, and ceramics. John will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends, may he rest in peace.
