John Sisson Breese, 61, of Hobart, IN, formerly of St Germain, WI and Gary, IN, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2022. Beloved spouse to Vanessa Ann Breese for a wonderful 34 years. Cherished father to Jonathan Breese and his wife Falisha, Michael Breese and his wife Treveena, and Gerald Breese. He will be leaving behind his loving grandchildren, Logan, Laurence, Lorriana and Grayson; his siblings, Gerald Breese and his wife Paula, Mickey Schmeisser and her husband Steve, Peggy Nimz and her husband Scott, and Daniel Breese and his wife, Janet; as well as numerous nephews and nieces. John lived most of his life as a strong protector; he was employed as a sergeant for the City of Gary Police Department, 23 years, a valuable member of SWAT, 11 years, part of the Fraternal Order of Police for countless years, and involved in over 1100 raids. While not at work, he enjoyed being spending time with his family and friends, cooking or barbecuing. John will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends, may he rest in peace.
