Obituary

Jennifer Lynn Mink, known to those who loved her simply as Jennifer, of Woodstock, Illinois, passed away on June 9, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on September 20, 1958, in Arlington, Virginia, she lived a life marked by faith, devotion to family, and a warm appreciation for the simple joys that made each day meaningful.

She was the beloved daughter of Bobby L. Mink and the late Carol Sue Rose, who passed away on March 6, 2026, and Bobby's wife, Lesley Mink; and the cherished sister of Kathleen Mink Peltz and her husband, Ronald Peltz; Suzan Amy Lopez and her husband, Carlos Lopez; brother, Kyle Mink and wife Nadia Vani Mink; and her sister, Heather Mink Zuvich (Ryan Zuvich). She was also a treasured aunt to Nicholas Ciconte, Luca Vani Mink, and Atticus Zuvich, and a loving great-aunt to Morgan Ciconte and Roman Ciconte. Jennifer shared her life with her significant other, Moe Qureshi, and their bond was one of companionship and affection. Her family meant everything to her, and she treasured every opportunity to spend time with them and share in their lives.

Jennifer had many interests that brought her happiness. She loved her family and her Lord most of all, but she also had a passion for good music, Lifetime movies, and endless reruns of Castle. She enjoyed traveling, spending time at the beach, shopping, and anything that involved being with the people she loved. These simple pleasures were part of what made her life so full, reflecting her ability to find joy in both quiet moments and shared experiences.

Her loved ones will remember her gentle spirit, her loving heart, and the comfort of her presence. She had a way of making those around her feel valued, and she leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. In times of sorrow, her family takes comfort in the promise of Scripture and in the hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

As the Bible reminds us, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith" (2 Timothy 4:7). Jennifer's life was a testimony to faith, love, and devotion, and her memory will be held dearly by all who were blessed to know her. Though she will be deeply missed, her loved ones find peace in knowing that she is now at rest in the presence of her Savior and reunited with her mother.
