Jeffrey T. Mikos

Jeffrey T. Mikos, age 71, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2026.

Jeff was born and raised on the Northwest Side of Chicago before making his home in Elgin, Illinois. He was a devoted father to Brittany Gerlach (Brandon), Kristian Mikos, and Jeffrey Mikos, Jr. (Ashley), and a proud grandfather to Leah, Cali, Amanda, Grayson, and Luna.

Jeff was the fond brother of Karen Siergey (William), John “Jack” Mikos (Theresa), and the late Susan Ramel. He was also a loving uncle to eight nieces and nephews and a great-uncle to nine.

Jeff found joy in the simple things in life, especially spending time outdoors, playing golf, cooking, and bowling. He was also a longtime and devoted Chicago Cubs fan. Above all, Jeff will be remembered for the love he had for his family and for the lasting memories he created with those closest to him.

Jeff will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends. Services will be private.
