Jean Marie Barreto passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025, surrounded by her family.

She was born on January 3, 1956, in McHenry, Illinois, the daughter of Richard and Mabel Weber.

Jean was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be remembered for her warm heart, quick wit, and the love she poured into her family. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Abbie Kelly and her husband Brian, and their sons Owen and Dylan Kelly; and by her son Lucas Barreto and his wife Jennifer, and their daughters Christina and Julia Barreto.

Jean is also survived by her siblings Grace, Jane, Janet, Mary Jean, Guy and Jackie, and by her dearest friend Nancy, whose lifelong friendship brought her comfort and laughter. She was preceded in death by her sister Judy, whom she never had the chance to meet but always carried in her heart.

Jean will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
