Jamie Ramone Green May 25, 1984 - May 15, 2020 Jamie Green of Chicago, Illinois passed away on the morning of Friday May 15, 2020, resting peacefully in his sleep. He was called to return home in peace by our Heavenly Father. Jamie was born in Vicksburg, Mississippi on May 25, 1984 to Paula Antionette Lewis and raised with Tony Maurice Green. He was the first of four children within that union. Jamie grew up in Jackson, Mississippi and was able to travel with his family to Germany, Seattle, and eventually settling in Chicago. Jamie grew up playing multiple sports but his all time love was playing baseball as a catcher. Jamie's love for life brought him to a variety of cities. He spent a lot of time in Colorado Springs where he enjoyed the Rocky Mountain views. He loved his hometown of Chicago and every sports team. Jamie, a dedicated cubs fan, enjoyed the simple pleasures in life including, family, music, cooking, and reading. He was a compassionate and understanding young man who was always willing to help people in need. After becoming a father to his three children, he strived to be a loving and dedicated dad, which he excelled at. Jamie kept his faith in god, and remained strong and hopeful up until his departure. Jamie is preceded in death by his mother, Paula Antionette Lewis and his grandfather Johnathan Ballard, Morris K. Lewis Jr. He is survived by his children; eldest daughter Jamie M. Green; his son Johan R. Green and youngest daughter Lisa P. Green His father Tony Green Wife (Elisangela Green); his sisters, Alyce Vani Husband (Benedict Vani), Brittney Green, Erica Green, Thayna Green, Thays Green and Brother Rafael Green. His Grandmother Bernice Loyd Husband (Alfonzo Loyd), Grandmother Lula Lewis and a host of Uncles, Aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
