Born in Croydon, PA, October 17,1962. Attended Mary Devine grade school.  Graduated from Del Hass high school 1980. Upon graduating, served an apprenticeship with Plumbers union Local 690, Philadelphia, PA. Worked with the union for 10 years. Jim moved to Lombard, IL and married Janet(Markovich), had a daughter, Danielle Harbison. Jim was employed at Great Lakes Navy base until the time of his death. Son of James and Liguori Harbison (both deceased), sister Theresa Esper(deceased). Survived by Janet Harbison, wife,Danielle Harbison, daughter, sister Susan Dettmar, brother Thomas J. Harbison, sister Mary Ellen Broderick, brother William Harbison, sister Elizabeth Kershaw, brother Daniel Harbison, sister Rita Prendergast. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
