Isabell
Kendl
Dec 31, 1963 — May 9, 2026
Isabell Kendl, who was born on December 31, 1963, in Chicago, Illinois, and passed away on May 9, 2026, in Elmhurst, Illinois, was a courageous and adventurous woman whose life was marked by strength, perseverance, and a deep love for the people and animals who shared her journey.
She was the beloved wife of the late Randy Raven and carried his memory with enduring love throughout her life. She is survived by her mother, Erika Careb and her husband Duane Careb; her sister, Monika Langdon and her husband Robert Langdon; her stepmother, Chris Kendl, and her nieces, Jacquelyn Paulson, Amy Meyer, and Sarah Slivnick.
Isabell worked in insurance, where she was respected for her professionalism, reliability, and strong work ethic. She approached her career with the same resilience that defined so much of her life.
Isabell found her happy place when she and Randy moved to Florida. They had a tight group of friends and made a wonderful life for themselves. They found happiness on the open road, riding their Harleys. Isabell especially enjoyed the sense of adventure and independence that came with it.
Isabell loved her dogs dearly, and they brought her great companionship and joy. Those who knew her best understood that her love of riding and her affection for her dogs were reflections of her spirited nature and her appreciation for the simple pleasures of life.
Isabell will be remembered as someone who fought pancreatic cancer with courage and strength. She kept fighting to the end, even when the odds were stacked against her. Her faith grew during this season as she trusted God's timing. Her life was a testament to perseverance, love, and the importance of holding close the people and passions that matter most.
Though her passing brings sorrow, her memory offers comfort to those who knew and loved her. A memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday, May 30th at 11:00 am at Chicago West Bible Church, 5916 W. Lake Street, Chicago, IL 60644.
