Gwendolyn Middleton, 76, of Chicago, IL, passed away on March 22, 2023.

Beloved mother to Apratha Boxton, Alaric Boxton, Willie Middleton, Latisha Richardson, and Kia Richardson. Cherished grandmother to Larry Dudley, Richard Dudley, Aaron Boxton, Malia Williams, Marcel Williams, Alisha Parker, Willie Middleton III, and Wakiesha Wright. She is survived by her loving siblings Annie Ruth Castleberry and Henry Taylor, as well 13 great-grandchildren.

Gwendolyn was fond of gardening and nature, she spent several hours nurturing her garden and making sure it grew beautifully. She also enjoyed painting, scrapbooking, solving puzzles, and most notably she was a devoted Bible Reader. There was not one day that went by where she did not make it a point to study the word. Gwendolyn will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends, may she rest in peace.

A celebration of life memorial service will be announced at a later date.
