In loving memory of Gardy Jean-Louis

Gardy Jean-Louis was born on October 11, 1954, in Anse a Veau, Commune de Lazile, Haiti. He was the cherished son of Odlie Gourdet Jean-Louis and Toto Jean-Louis and the beloved father of Millienne Jean-Louis. In June 1980, he began a new chapter in his life when he moved to the United States and settled in Chicago. It was in this city that he found love and companionship with his dear wife, Josee Marie Auguste, on February 14, 1984.

For over 40 years, Gardy served as a licensed chauffeur, dedicating his life to his community with professionalism and devotion. His unwavering love for family and friends defined him, and he spent his life caring for those he held dear.

On October 3, 2023, Gardy Jean-Louis unexpectedly yet peacefully departed, leaving behind a legacy of love and care. He is survived by his loving daughter, Millienne Jean-Louis, and two nephews, Paul and Fred Clermont, along with a host of grandnieces and grandnephews. Gardy Jean-Louis will forever be remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Rest in peace, dear Gardy Jean-Louis.
