Feliciano
Favela
Jun 9, 1949 — May 10, 2025
Feliciano Favela, a soul so grand,
Born in '49, in Durango land.
In Tepehuanes, his life's first dawn,
Until the day he was sadly gone.
In Joliet, Illinois, he took his last breath,
On May the tenth, he met with death.
A life so full, a heart so pure,
His passing was peaceful, of that we're sure.
Son of Rosa with love so deep,
And Hilario Chaidez, whose memory we keep.
Brother to Juan, Manuel, their bond never raveled,
Aurelia and Hermelinda, whose paths have traveled.
A father so cherished, a guiding light,
Juan, Armando, and Rosa, his delight.
Erika, Feliciano Jr., Cesar, and Michael,
In his heart, their love was always a cycle.
Mexican music was his soul's sweet friend,
Songs he'd sing, his voice would blend.
With every note, his spirit took flight,
In melodies, he found his life's true delight.
Feliciano's life, a vibrant verse,
His laughter a chorus, his warmth a nurse.
In every heart, his memory sings,
A symphony of joy, on soft, gentle wings.
Now he rests, his legacy cast,
A life of love, memories vast.
Feliciano Favela, forever a song,
In our hearts, his melody lives on.
