We mournfully announce the passing of Esther Camarillo, 76, of Chicago, llinois.
Esther passed away on November 9, 2021, after a hard fought battle with COVID 19.Esther, born to Jobita and Jose, took her first breath on June 20, 1945. Esther was a force to be reckoned with, from the get go, as many of us know. After graduating from CVS high school on the southeast side of Chicago in 1964, she attended three years of college.
She worked 30+ years for United Insurance, before retiring. Once retired she continued to work part time for Dominicks Bakery, and
then as an office assistant for a local attorney. She could never remain idle. To fill her time, she dabbled in arts and crafts, and even wrote a book for one of her great-nieces.
Esther was a loving partner to Kenneth Geltner for 46 years. Even though they were engaged, they never married. She lived a full and vibrant life with more friends than you could count. She was Aunt Esther to both her and Ken's families. Her nephews and nieces meant more to her than words can describe, and will be truly missed by all.
Due to covid, we will not be having a service at this time. We will let you know when arrangements are made, sometime next Spring.
