Emanuel Williams was born on January 19, 1956, to the late Harrison Williams Jr. and Ruth E. Williams. He departed this life on Wednesday, February 8,2023 at West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park, IL.

Emanuel was christened at Lawndale Presbyterian Community Church as a child and was a man of pride, strength, and determination. He graduated from Farragut High School and took some courses at Wright Community College. Emanuel was a diligent worker as a welder and armed security guard and was a very charismatic man who loved to smile. He had a very cool and stylish demeanor and was given the nick name "Arrington" by his friends who compared him to Herb Kent "The Cool Gent" a black radio personality. Emanuel was affectionately called by his family "Uncle Man" or "Man." He was always kind, friendly and independent, preferring to make his own way in life. Emanuel also had a great love of movies. music, mechanics and supported many philanthropic causes.

His parents Harrison Williams Jr.(father) and Ruth E. Williams (mother) preceded him in death. He leaves to mourn his passing one daughter LaTonja C. Stephenson, one granddaughter, Chemaya P. Stephenson (Ricardo Martinez), one brother, Harrison Williams III (Misha Williams), two sisters, Tamara L. Tate, and Jennifer Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
