Ella T.
Mcfeely
Oct 29, 1946 — Jul 26, 2023
Ella was the devoted and beloved wife to the love of her life, Warren S. "Mertz" McFeely, for nearly 56 years. The apple of her eye was her son, Joe (Pauline). Her pride and joy were her grandsons, Joey and Ryan, whom she doted on from the day they were born.
Ella was an amazing cook who shared her family recipes with anyone who asked. She loved to press her luck at casinos. Ella was a long-time employee of Fred Fox Studios. She was small and mighty, tender and fierce, very generous, and affectionately known as "Grandma" to many of her grandsons' friends.
Ella is survived by her husband, Mertz, her son, Joe, her daughter-in-law, Pauline, her grandsons, Joey and Ryan, sister-in-laws, Patricia Was and Geri (Jim) MacGregor, her brother-in-law, Roy (Allison) Rivard, nephews Scott (Jessie) Jachim and Austin Rivard, nieces Stacey Jachim and Alexis (Richard) Richabal , great-niece Adeline (Zach) Spencer, great-nephews Mason, Xavier, and Jax Nevoraski and Matthew and Joseph Richabal.
Ella was preceded in death by her parents, Anna and Jozef Was, her brother, Walter Was, her mother-in-law, Irene Rivard, her best friend and "bumming" partner, Patricia (George) Joiner, and her crazy dog, Frisky.
Per Ella's wishes, there will be no services. Inurnment is private.
