Eleanor Askew, age 73, was called home to be with our Heavenly Father on May 10, 2026. Born on November 1, 1952, Eleanor was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and dear friend who leaves behind a lifetime of beautiful memories, laughter, and love.

Eleanor enjoyed spending time with her family, close friends, and her beloved birthday club. She loved music, dancing, and creating joyful moments with those around her. Family meant everything to her, and she dedicated her life to caring for and supporting the people she loved, always making sure everyone else was okay before herself.

She leaves to cherish her memory her brother, Bernard Askew and his wife, Darlene; her nieces, Sherrell Chunn and her daughter, Zahria, and Sharona Guilford and spouse; along with a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jackson and Marie Askew, and her brothers, Samuel Askew, Jerome Askew, Clifton Askew, and Leonard Askew.

Eleanor's strength, loyalty, and generous heart created a foundation of love that her family will carry with them forever. She was deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
