Edward J Shadrick, 68, of Aurora, IL, passed away on March 21, 2023.

Beloved spouse to Lois Marie Bugg Shadrick for several loving years. Cherished brother of Mark Robert Shadrick and Alan Howard Shadrick (Vhonda Denise).

Edward worked as a wetland scientist protecting natural spaces during development all over North America. He was also a Boy Scout Leader, Radio DJ, and enjoyed playing marathon chess against his wife. Edward will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends, may he rest in peace.

A Celebration of Ed's life will take place Friday April 21, 2023 at Phillips Park Visitors Center and Mastodon Gallery

1000 Ray Moses Dr, Aurora, IL 60505. 3pm to 6pm. Camping/Cook-out food will be served along with Ed's favorite desserts! This event is appropriate for the whole family, casual attire.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Kidney Fund, Aurora Animal Control and Shelter, or the Morton Arboretum are welcome.
