In Memory of Edward Malkus
Edward Malkus was born on January 17, 1968, in Mykolaiv, Ukraine, which was then part of the Soviet Union. From an early age, Edward was naturally curious and had a deep desire to learn and understand the world around him. He never stopped learning, seeking answers, and discovering new horizons.
In 1993, Edward emigrated to Israel, where he lived for ten years. It was there that his interest in Eastern philosophy, kung fu, Eastern medicine, and spiritual development deepened. He read extensively, studied philosophical works, explored Eastern culture, and devoted himself to personal growth.
In 2005, Edward moved to the United States to be closer to his parents. He graduated from a massage therapy school and went on to study acupuncture and holistic medicine. He discovered that his greatest passion was helping people. Over the years, Edward earned the respect and trust of thousands of patients. He was known and valued not only in Chicago but far beyond. To many, he was more than a skilled practitioner; he restored hope, eased pain, and sincerely cared for everyone who came to him.
Edward leaves behind a lasting legacy of compassion, healing, and kindness. His memory lives on in the hearts of all who knew him and in the countless lives he touched.
He is survived by his life partner, Nailya Fevoli; his daughter, Anastasia Malkus; his stepdaughter, Yulia Block; and his granddaughter, Jane Block.
