Doris E. Matos was born on September 26, 1955, in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. She was a loving daughter, mother, aunt, grandmother, and a cherished presence in the lives of so many. She was the daughter of Maria Cruz and Luis Pagan and the mother of Jesenia Pagan and Alicia Matos.

Doris was truly full of life. She brought joy into every room she walked into and had a laugh that was uniquely hers and infectious.

After a long and courageous fight, Doris passed away on September 20, 2026.

Doris will always be remembered, deeply loved, and greatly missed. Her spirit will continue to live on through her family and all those whose lives she touched.
